Dream to attend Summer School

I have a dream of attending a summerschool necessary for the enrichment of my resume, investing in my future professional and personal skills to be able to exercise the area that dream: protection of personal data!

My name is Pedro Heitor researcher collaborator of the Interdisciplinary Research Centre for Human Rights, the Law School of the University of Minho, Portugal. Since my enrollment in the Master of Law and Information Technology, which concluded in March 2016,  interested and participated in several international events on the theme of the right of new technologies (IT Law).

However, an invitation I was assigned to attend a summer school organized jointly by the NATO Communications and Information Agency, EUROPOL and by The Hague Security Delta in The Hague, Netherlands (). Cybercrime and cybersecurity is my favourite area in terms of research.

I think that my participation in such events will not only be productive for me but also for the Portuguese academic community, which always represented - and will represent - the best I could.

Given the situation in which we find is not possible for me to enrich the curriculum and in the future have the opportunity to exercise, or work with the sector of information and communication technologies. Given that the costs related to these events are extremely hefty (and really only for this reason) I ask your help, help this driven by Adriana Rodrigues who found this project a way around the difficulties to attend the summer school mentioned.

My name is  Pedro Oliveira Heitor, resident in São João da Madeira, 28, driven by better!

I am currently Advocate intern 2nd phase / complementary phase (1st 2013 Training Course of the Bar Association) and is waiting interview marking (ancient oral test) for the aggregation of the Bar Association. Recently finished a Masters in Law and Information Technology of the School of Law of the University of Minho (Portugal) , where I defended the thesis entitled "Contribution to the understanding of the causes of exclusion of unlawfulness and guilt in the illegitimate access crime", classified with 17 points .

 I am interested in working in all areas of law, but I have a special interest in the right area of Information and Communication Technologies. I appreciate also quite the negotiation and drafting of contracts and litigation area. I also try to keep me always updated regarding the evolution of legal thought, the European legislative procedures and national and European court decisions. I consider myself to be a very dynamic and sociable person.

I intend to attractive opportunities where I can implement my skills and at the same time to further my knowledge and gain international experience in legal practice.
