7 THOUSAND EUROS OF VETERINARY DEBT

Suguinhos e os Amigos is a particular and unique cause that only counts on the help of solidarity from those who love animals. I don't have any help from the city council, but the citys cats don't have help from competent entities.

We are coming to the end of an extremely difficult year with veterinary bills and I really need help because otherwise I don't know how to get out of this situation and continue to help those already in my care (almost 50 cats and almost 20th street in colonies). Over the last few months I have removed newborns from the street, animals in a deplorable state. I helped without considering the means and with numerous problems of those already resident. The shelter is a space without the necessary conditions for so many animals, which affects their health and that of those who have to go there. That's why I resort to temporary host families, but they are always my responsibility. The losses were very heavy this year. Mental health is already showing tiredness and I can't get out of this bottomless hole. Without help I won't make it. I appeal to your generosity 🥺

I'm Carlota, the face of Suguinho and Friends. A charitable cause to help street kittens. I have been alone in this cause for 7 years and I can only survive thanks to the generosity of many people who support my work. In my city there is no municipal help for cats and, therefore, the cases and requests for help are increasing. Animals increasingly appear sicker. And all of this entails expenses. Unfortunately this year I had hard losses. Due to serious illnesses and viruses that led to lengthy and very expensive hospitalizations. I spend a lot each month on appointments, food, medication, hygiene, water and electricity... it's been very difficult days, weeks and months. Everyone's help is precious in order to continue helping.

Budget and due dates

All the amount raised will be automatically delivered to the Alcanede Veterinary Center, which has been with me on this journey for years. The amount I ask for is lower than the debt because I'm afraid I'm too ambitious and ask for the amount I need and be sad if I don't get it. I hope that by the 31st I can have excellent news and allow me to enter 2024 with shoulders freer of weight.
