In an atypical year marked by the global pandemic situation and the uncertainty and instability that we live in these days, the Christmas season must be felt and lived with the same intensity as in previous years. In this way, we intend to continue to provide our children with a Christmas full of HOPE AND HAPPINESS.
This Christmas, we want to give our children a Supper and a special Christmas Lunch, with all the delicacies typical of this festive season, the traditional cod with Portuguese cabbage, the traditional stuffed Peru, the sonses, dreams, golden slices, various desserts and the traditional Bolo Rei.
For our children to feel at home, we need your help and for this reason we invite you to spend this Christmas with us! With just € 10 you can guarantee a Christmas meal and with € 42.75 you can support one of our children all Christmas!

About the author
The "O Século" Foundation is an IPSS in the municipality of Cascais, which has two Houses of Reception - Casa das Conchas and Casa do Mar, where around 30 children and young people live.
Heir to the former Children's Bathing Colony of "O Século", the "O Século" Foundation, ninety years later, continues to organize the Holiday Colony. However, currently, the Institution's social activity is much broader and more comprehensive and, daily, supports around 800 people, including children, families and the elderly.
In addition to the Casa de Acolhimento, the "O Século" Foundation also has three Autonomization Apartments, where 10 young people live; a nursery and preschool with a capacity for 85 children; a CAFAP - Center for Family Support and Parental Support, which can support up to 100 families with children and young people at risk; Food Support and Home Support services for the elderly and / or dependent; a Social Canteen response for people in need and economic emergency; and the Take.it project, which, through the Escolhas Program, supports young people in the social neighborhoods of Torre and Galiza, in Cascais.
In order to achieve our mission of welcoming, caring, collaborating, educating and training to promote the well-being and quality of life of children, young people, the elderly and families who are in a situation of social vulnerability, in a sustainable model, it is necessary to friends and partners, who believe and support us in this challenge and in the desire to bring joy, love and hope to each child / family / elderly in our institution.
