Porto Music Stories is an independent cultural project that showcases the musical diversity that inhabits Porto. Inspired by the roots of Brazilian music, Lusophone culture, world music, and its encounters with other sounds.
Why we need your help
Over the past two months, we've hosted four editions of Porto Music Stories with a lot of love and dedication. We've invited incredible artists, created unique experiences, and captured everything in video and photos to showcase the project's soul.
We asked the public for collaborative contributions, received occasional support, and received some donations that helped cover part of the costs—especially in the production of the first videos. But even with all this collective effort, we couldn't secure the resources necessary to keep the project active with the quality and professionalism it deserves.
That's why we launched this campaign. We want to continue bringing good music, cultural encounters, and new stories to the public of Porto—in an accessible way, but valuing those who work in the arts.

About the author
Porto Music Stories is a production by Dabel Produções, a project born from the perspective and listening of Isabel Maria da Costa Vieira — a Brazilian cultural producer in Porto, passionate about gatherings that celebrate diversity through music.
Over the past few years, I've been producing events that blend affection, sound, and presence: from samba circles to dance parties, from music production to intimate experiences, always with the desire to bring people and cultures together.
Porto Music Stories was born this way—from an enchantment with the incredible musicians who live in this city, the stories they carry, and the desire to showcase this richness to the public with respect, sensitivity, and quality.
We held the first four editions with great effort, collective support, and partnerships. Now we want to continue this dream with greater structure and sustainability.
This project is an invitation: to be together, listen, support and feel the power of the music made here.
