I suffer from a chronic alopecia disease that has caused me to lose my hair over the years. At the end of 2022 I decided to shave at once. It was tough. I got home and only had my big dog, Blake, adopted (abandoned 2x), who also has flaws in his fur... he didn't even notice that I had no hair. He jumped up as usual, euphoric, licked me with the usual love. Smile. And in that moment it all made sense. There are people with problems far worse than mine, that's for sure.
