We are looking for help to send the material collected in the Mochila Solidária campaign for the children of Ilha do Príncipe
In 2021, after surveying the needs at the site, we challenged schools in the Municipality of Oeiras, companies and individuals to donate backpacks and school material to the children of Príncipe Island. The SOLIDÁRIA BACKPACK , had a strong support from students and teachers, companies and the general public who supported this initiative by donating backpacks with school supplies.
Now we need to send all donations to São Tomé and Príncipe , for that we need your help through this crowdfunding.
Your donation is very important, help us to deliver these backpacks and school supplies to those who need it most, because United We Help More!!

About the author
UAM - Unidos Ajudamos Mais (United We Help More) intends to contribute to social inclusion and the development of personal and social skills. UAM is focused on children, young people, the elderly, families and surrounding communities that are in a social context of exclusion and risk. It is currently promoting a campaign, called Mochila Solidária , to gather backpacks and school supplies for Príncipe Island in São Tomé and Príncipe.
We believe it is possible to build a more humane and balanced world, with the motto of education for development. The UAM is always based on respect for the characteristics of each individual to reach the collective. With appropriate educational tools, we can help develop skills for a fuller and more dignified life.

Budget and due dates
The amount of this fundraising will be used for maritime transport from Lisbon to São Tomé and from São Tomé to Ilha do Príncipe. The values we want are based on a quote made by a carrier.
The estimated value for transport from Lisbon to São Tomé will be €3,270.00 and from São Tomé to Príncipe Island plus €2,500.00. Through Crowdfunding we are raising the amount of € 3,270.00, the total amount of commissions to be paid is € 295.20, with a net value for the Project of € 2,904.80
We ask for support by December 30, 2021 to ship in the first quarter of 2022.
