Micas, 14 years old, is fighting for his life with a tumor in his mouth. Help us save him.
Micas is a kitten who recently turned 14 and has a tumor on the roof of his mouth, which is already quite advanced. He has lost weight and has difficulty eating, and is prostrate, but apart from that and when medicated, he runs and plays like he did when he was young.
Micas belongs to my parents, who both live on pensions and have no means of subsistence. My girlfriend and I have been paying for most of the costs, more than 300 euros in multiple visits to the vet, 90 euros for a visit to the oncology specialist, Anicura, in Mafra and now a CT scan and biopsy are needed, costing 672.90 euros, all of this without travel and other expenses. This is not counting our five cats, the more than 10 colonies we feed and all the others we care for, including a stray cat who also has a tumour and who cost us 200 euros this week. All of this is unsustainable and we need help.
