When starting the new year 2015 GPAR proposed to sterilize / control over a pack (work already being done since September 2014), we call pack of Folgosa. Sterilizations were almost all carried out with only 2 bitches. The only GPAR lives of solidarity donations, without the contribution of all none of this would be possible, we call for your help, so that you can settle the bill sterilization of 11 dogs of the pack of Folgosa.
First almost all female dogs, for two continue to flee and we still can not capture them - were controlled by injection for the prevention of heat and a 2nd phase, we were investing in catches and gradually proceed to sterilization.
As we were moving forward with the sterilisations, had knowledge of the existence of some people interested in adopting homeless animals, with particular attention to families in the area of Folgosa, we want to leave a big thank you to all the people who were involved with the GPAR, helping catches, postoperative (giving their garages for little female dogs to recover in a controlled environment) while eventually be sensitive to animal causes, advancing in some cases by adopting them (5 female dogs were adopted and two are in temporary families)!
The rest were returned to the site and are cared for by people nearby. We continue to invest in the capture of the two missing female dogs to prevent more litters.
