Help my mother fight terminal cancer

73-year-old widow with financial problems needs help fighting cancer for the second time.

Let me introduce myself.

My name is Marcelo, son of a great woman. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with advanced cancer (stage IV), and we are fighting with all our stregnth to eliminate it. Although the doctors don't believe it, she does. She survived breast cancer 27 years ago, and is now fighting stomach cancer that has metastasized to the lung.

Chemotherapy has managed to prevent it from growing, but it is not enough. We have been using other alternative therapies that have helped her a lot in this process. But her being alone, without retirement (we are taking care of her now) and with only my financial support, it is not enough to be able to keep up with all the costs, for housing, food and alternative treatments.

We have no complaints regarding the NHS in Portugal, on the contrary, but we simply cannot find funds for everything.

That's why I'm asking you for help here.

I can provide all the data necessary to prove her clinical condition, and everything else we have done.

Right now, we have to be very careful with her diet, with all her medications, and I don't know who else to ask. My salary is practically all to help pay for all her expenses, but I don't know how else to do to help.

I sincerely ask for help from anyone reading this. My mother is my best friend, she is everything in my life. I really want to continue helping with everything that makes her have a better quality of life.

The lack of breath and the constant pain make my soul hurt, and I want to help her feel comfortable fighting this aggressive cancer. I'm simply a desperate son looking for help.

All my income has been given to her 100%. I reduced all my costs to the limit to be able to provide everything for him, but I can't take it anymore. All the money in the world is not enough when trying to save a life. But with her strength, I know that she can defy all the laws of logic and can recover.

Budget and due dates

Right now I have my life in "limbo" so I can do everything for my mother.

We have monthly expenses that are much higher than my income.

Supplements and more holistic treatment consultations cost more than 2000 euros. As much as I resort to loans and everything else, I have already exhausted all my alternatives. This amount would be an oxygen balloon, until I hand over my apartment in September, so that this money can also be invested in her treatments.
