Davi is undergoing intensive treatments at the IPO in Porto, and his family needs support to guarantee six months of income. The goal: to alleviate a monthly worry so that his parents can focus on Davi and Lucas.

But this is the reality for this family from São Miguel do Souto, Santa Maria da Feira.
Eleven-year-old Davi has been undergoing treatment at the Porto Oncology Institute (IPO) since September, following a diagnosis of aggressive cancer. It's a tough, invasive, and demanding treatment. His mother is with him every day, every hour, through everything that happens—because there's no other way to be a mother when your child is fighting for their life.
The father, a ride-hailing driver, tries to maintain the household's sole income, but between constant trips to the vehicle inspection, unavoidable absences, and hours lost trying to be present, his income has plummeted.
And then there's 8-year-old Lucas, who feels all of this in his own way: the absence of his parents, the weary silence when they arrive, the worry he doesn't understand but feels.

Why does this campaign exist?
There are times when a family has only one possible focus: saving their child.
And it's violent that, at the same time, they have to think:
"Will we make it to the end of the month? Will we be able to pay the rent?"

This is the harsh and unfair reality they face:
No parent should have to divide their strength between fighting for their child's life and finding money to pay the rent.
And yet, this is what happens every day.
The community has been helping with food and essential goods. But there is one expense that cannot be divided into small gestures: the rent, which amounts to €550 per month.
As this so aptly summarizes a simple and undeniable truth:
Their lives came to a standstill. The bills didn't.

Being able to pay the rent month by month, with phased withdrawals through PPL, so that this family can focus solely on one thing:

- to accompany David in his fight for life,

• Withdrawals will be made in phases, as the amount accumulated on the platform allows.
  If the total amount is reached before the expected six months, the funds may be withdrawn in a single payment, while maintaining the commitment to apply them monthly to the payment of rent.

• The family agrees to publish updates and proof of payment for each month's rent.
