I was diagnosed with Fanconi Anemia when I was 5 years old and we are currently experiencing a lot of financial difficulties. I have avascular necrosis in the head of my femur and I cannot work.
Hello, I'm Liliana dos Anjos Vieira da Silva , I'm 31 years old and I've been facing a tough fight against my health and life's difficulties for several years. I live with Fanconi Anemia , a rare and complex disease, and I suffer from avascular necrosis in the head of my femur , an extremely painful condition that has prevented me from walking and working for 3 years.
I had surgery on my left hip last year, but I still have to do surgery on my right hip. In the meantime, I live with constant pain, deep discouragement and total dependence on my mother, who is the only source of support for me, my brother and my grandmother. Unfortunately, all the household bills – electricity, water, medicine – fall on my mother's already tired shoulders.
We have been through some very difficult situations, including running out of water at home and running out of money for medicine. Last year was even harder: we lost my grandfather and my cat, who were emotional pillars for me. Since then, sadness has taken over our home. My mother stopped eating well, and I started isolating myself again, losing my will to live.
So, I'm asking for your help. I'm creating this campaign to raise €6,000 . This amount will be used to:
- Support with monthly household expenses
- Buy essential medicines for myself and my mother
- Ensure adequate nutrition
- And, who knows, maybe provide some moment of joy and relief to my family.
My greatest wish is that our life becomes lighter and that we can smile again. That I can fear death again and not wish for it . That my mother can rest a little from the pain and responsibilities she carries alone.
If you can't help with money, please share this campaign. Every gesture counts. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my story.
With love,
Liliana
