Help us buy two freezers to store food bank products that will be distributed to families in situations of poverty and social exclusion.
This year our association joined the Food Bank to help distribute food to 417 people who are in situations of poverty and social exclusion.
This distribution will be carried out every fortnight, with the need to store frozen products in the Association's space, after being delivered by the Food Bank.
To be able to achieve this objective, we need to purchase 2 freezers to store frozen products.

Lifeshaker is a youth association recognized by the Portuguese Institute of Sports and Youth. Founded in 2009, its social objective is to promote participation through non-formal education, directing its intervention primarily towards the younger population living in disadvantaged neighborhoods.
Our mission, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, aims to reinforce quality education and promote decent work and economic growth in the face of emerging societal challenges that threaten individual and collective well-being.
In this context, the younger population faces increasing obstacles in enjoying their social rights, which affects their aspirations and achievements, and this reality is aggravated for those who find themselves in situations of poverty and social exclusion.
To this end, we support the strategic vision that the development of values, attitudes, knowledge and skills of individuals with fewer opportunities, prepares them for the demands of a changing world, recognizing in them the talent, energy, and creativity to overcome disadvantageous situations, taking the initiative in managing inclusive life paths in parallel with transforming their ideas into positive changes for society, bringing it closer to the values of Justice, Equality and Solidarity that we share in our practices.
