Dear friends and family, our esteemed clients Health and peace!

I am writing this message to you with my sad heart, because I probably don't know what will happen tomorrow. I am changing my restaurant and the whole concept here to be able to face the new realities. Our restaurant is located in one of the most historic and emblematic areas of the city, specifically in Alfama next to the José Saramago Foundation and in front of the future Museum dedicated to Slavery. Our simple project fits within the purchasing capacity of anyone and everyone; a kind of street food in kriola gastronomy, and so I started the structural work of changes, until this terrible virus arrived and invaded our cities. I am writing to you my friend for help.

As a proof of our eternal gratitude, we will send you a small sample of our Gourmet cachupa, the result of our passionate work.

I know perfectly well that this moment is complicated for everyone, but I also believe in the potential of this space and this project, so I am investing all my energy to not miss this opportunity. We thank you in advance for your attention and if you have availability to contribute and want to be part of this project we will be available for any clarification. About the author

My name is João Pedro Tavares de Oliveira, I was born in Cape Verde, I am 38 years old and I have been owner of Restaurante Mesa kreol for 7 years.

I have a degree in Political Science and International Relations from the Lusophone University of Humanities and Technology in Lisbon since 2011;

As part of the creation of the Mesa kreol restaurant, we participate in the dissemination of Cape Verdean gastronomy and culture in Lisbon.

We support and encourage the learning of Cape Verdean cuisine through some courses and workshops given at our establishment.

Budget and due dates

We foresee a budget of 2500 € (two thousand and five hundred euros).

This amount will serve to ensure the expenses inherent to the rehabilitation of our space, taking into account the changes caused by the epidemic and to ensure its reopening, thus guaranteeing all the security required by the DGS;
