Participation in the 2025 European Aerobatics Championships

Fundraising for the participation of 4 GUIMAGYM gymnasts in the 2025 European Acrobatics Championships which will take place in Luxembourg from 10 to 21 April.

GUIMAGYM managed to select 4 gymnasts to represent the Portuguese team at the European Acrobatics Championships that will take place in Luxembourg between the 10th and 21st of April 2025.

We want to represent Guimarães, GUIMAGYM and Portugal in this competition, which we are participating in for the second time. In 2023, it was the first time that we were present with GUIMAGYM gymnasts in a European competition and we won the title of European champions by age groups for Portugal.

We are motivated and with renewed ambition to defend the colors of our team.

About the author

GUIMAGYM – Guimarães Gymnastics Club was founded on July 21, 2016 and became the first gymnastics club to join the Guimarães association movement. GUIMAGYM thus came to fill a gap in the sports offerings in Guimarães and aims to establish itself as a club focused on training athletes, viewing the competitive component as a consequence of the work carried out. GUIMAGYM focuses on the promotion and development of gymnastics as a way of enhancing the capabilities of the Guimarães community and, in this way, increasing the rate of sports participation in the municipality. More than a club, GUIMAGYM aims to establish itself as a sports reference in the community and contribute to improving people's quality of life. We have a diverse and comprehensive offering both in terms of age groups and types of gymnastic activity, thus trying to satisfy the desires of practitioners and their families.

The costs of this participation will have to be borne in full by the gymnasts and the club, namely:
