This campaign aims to pay the outstanding bill at the veterinary clinic. Only then can we help more animals. We cannot continue to accumulate debt! They are treatment and sterilization of animals that live on the street and that are fed by us. Right now there are about 100 stray cats that we feed every day.
Mr António was an 88-year-old man who fed and cared for 80 stray cats on the streets of Porto on a daily basis. Unfortunately he passed away in March 2021 and nowadays his legacy continues to be made by Mr. Fernando and at this moment give more than 100 stray cats...
This campaign aims to pay the outstanding bill at the veterinary clinic regarding the sterilization and treatment of animals that appear in the colonies that we protect and cases that are asked for help and we cannot say no, even though we do not have the means to pay for the treatment. They are animals that live on the street and are fed by us. Right now there are about 100 stray cats that we feed every day.
Unfortunately, nowadays it's easier to pass the "hot potato" to the other and that's why we often have very high bills, because they ask for help for an animal in suffering and then they don't care anymore...

About the author
We are Vânia Dias and Mr. Fernando. Two people with a common interest: animals! I have actively supported the animal cause for over 11 years now. I try to help the animals that cross paths with us and I have already sterilized more than 1000 animals and I have already sent more than 300 animals for adoption. Mr. Fernando, fulfills the legacy of Mr. António and walks the streets of Porto and Campanhã daily to feed the more than 100 stray cats.
Unfortunately, nowadays it's easier to pass "the hot potato" to others and the requests that come to us are more and more.
It is very difficult to do all this privately, but it is undoubtedly very rewarding to know if we save a life or that we provide a better life.
Budget and due dates
At the moment our objective is to settle some amount of the pending account at the veterinary clinic, which already amounts to 2800€, so that we can continue to feed all these animals, capture, sterilize and treat them. Every day we receive requests for help... We are not an association... we are just simple individuals but we cannot find out that there is an animal suffering... Time is short as new cases appear every day!
