After several years of suffering and medical negligence, Gabriela was diagnosed with deep endometriosis, which is already spread throughout the abdominal and pelvic area as well as retroperitoneally, putting pressure on the lumbar region, due to this condition Gabriela has immense pain that leaves her unable to certain movements, suffers from chronic pelvic pain, and has very painful menstrual cycles that leave her in bed, not even taking anti-inflammatories does not get better having to take a large amount of them to have any effect, this terrible disease has affected her. if also in the intestine which takes away quality of life for my Wife suffering a lot with constipation and severe diarrhea alternating with each other.

For several years we looked for a diagnosis for so much suffering, but she was always neglected and doubted by all the health professionals she sought who told her that the pain she felt was normal, some said it was a psychosomatic illness and there were even those who diagnosed her with an invented disease, unfortunately all this medical negligence delayed the diagnosis of Gabriela's true illness, which after giving birth to our Daughter got much worse, being at this point already very advanced, it is a disease that if it obstructs the kidneys or the intestine, as well as some vital organ, it can be fatal and take my Wife to death.

Gabriela has surgery scheduled for the 18th of February but the price is much higher than what we could pay, so we are appealing for your help. I also mention right away that this surgery is performed in this location because the doctor in charge is the best specialist in this disease in Portugal.

I, Jorge, Gabriela's husband, hereby request this support, because at this moment we don't have financial possibilities for the surgery. We are married, and we have a daughter, we live in Penafiel, and I am the only one working. Our only hypotheses would be to ask for a loan, however it becomes difficult considering that we already have one for the car and another for the house that constantly increases due to the Euribor, making it impossible to fit more expenses into our monthly budget.

Budget and due dates

As you can see in the photo of the surgery quote, the total amount will be around €5730, with a few more charges, such as medication or other equipment used in the surgery.

In this document it is also possible to verify that the surgery is scheduled for the 18th of February 2023, and although we thought of postponing it so that we could save some money or sell certain goods, there would be a possibility that this disease could compromise vital organs and/or become a malignant tumour.
