Fundraising campaign to support the participation of two women football teams from FCFerreiras in an international tournament, Ibercup Estoril, taking place between the 3rd and 9th of July in Estoril

This campaign resulted from the close collaboration of the Algarve football club FCFerreiras, the athletes, the athletes' parents and the technical team, in a joint effort to get these young players to compete in an international tournament with teams from several countries and from several different academies. It has not always been possible for teams with less financial capacity, or those that are more distant from the big centers and less known to compete in these tournaments, since the associated costs of accommodation, food, transport and registration are high. As families and smaller clubs cannot afford these costs, teams like ours are often left out.
The idea of this fundraising project came up with the immediate aim of getting them to compete in this international tournament, like any other team, between equals , but also with the immediate aim of making them believe that it could be possible and that the opportunities could be created with effort and diligence.
