The objective of this campaign is to raise funds to pay the debts we owe to the clinics we work with, so that we can continue to help animals.
Casa Esperanza is a non-profit organization, located in Ordem, Marinha Grande, whose main goal is to help animals that were victims of abuse and/or abandonment, and then put them for adoption. We take care of around 40 dogs and 80 cats, and majority of the animals are in foster families.
The organization depends on donations provided by animal lovers and membership fees.
Taking into account the increase of animals that need our help in the area, it has been very difficult for us to keep up and to deal with the high expenses, especially in the veterinary clinics. Every animal that is more than 6 months old is vaccinated, dewormed and neutered.
In addition to the high cost of keeping the animals sheltered in the best possible conditions, there are also high costs spent in helping hurt street animals that need urgent medical attention, such as animals that were run over and have fractured bones, parasitic diseases, helping litters of newborn dogs and cats that were abandoned, and many others.
We owe 5.500 euros at the veterinarian clinics that work with us. Moreover, the world is currently facing an economic crisis, which makes it more difficult for people to supports us with donations.
At the moment, we are asking all of you for your help so we can continue helping animals in need. Thank you.
