Rainy Weather School

The Rainy Weather School is a summer camp for socially vulnerable children and youth that promotes inclusion through a series of fun activities. We aim to provide a snack for each child participating in the project.

The Rainy Weather School is a project aimed at children and young people from the community of Cacheu, Guinea-Bissau.

At Escola do Tempo de Chuva, we want to ensure that all children and young people who attend our project have the right to a balanced snack during activities, so we launched this campaign with the goal of raising 750 euros.

This amount will allow us to provide simple but nutritious snacks to around 300 children by the end of the project.

We believe that a snack is part of a complete educational experience because it nourishes not only the body but also the motivation, concentration, and well-being of each child. We count on you to ensure that no participant is left without this essential support. Contribute, share, and help us make this small, great goal possible!

About the author

The Um dia vamos juntos Association is a non-profit organization, with a Portuguese tax number, which has developed its work in São Tomé and Príncipe, especially within the community of Porto Alegre (south of the island of São Tomé).

We started as a pilot project in 2017 and in April 2021 we legally established the association.

Over the years we have dedicated our actions to Educational Support , Gender Equality and Entrepreneurship .

This year, our long trip was to Guinea-Bissau, where we intend to do what we know best - Help

Budget and due dates

The Rainy Weather School takes place during the months of July and August.

Budget Forecast:

• Transfers - 500 euros;
• Support Material - 250 euros
• Snacks - 750 euros
