The Equality is the new trend project was created by three colleagues with the aim of defending gender equality and sensitizing the whole country.
EQUALITY is the new trend emerges as a project in defense of gender equality and aims through solidarity walks, campaigns in social networks and a parade help in the progress of the mentality of society and highlight problems that prevent gender equality of citizens. It remains a matter of concern that the victims of rape are blamed, that domestic violence rarely obtains the necessary intervention ... This project is intended to be nationally known and to raise the awareness of the entire population.
We aim to show our determination in defense of our ideology, to make a monetary contribution to institutions that support victims of domestic violence and harassment, and to draw the attention of society to a problem that still exists.
About the author
The name of our campaign came from the well-known series "Orange Is the New Black", we took advantage of the notoriety of the expression and adapted to "Equality" because the truth is that this whole campaign is based on the fight for gender equality, and no doubt that equality is our main key word, "... is the new trend" arose mainly because we want equality to become a trend, something that everyone wants to adhere to and moreover, that is a tendency to endure and change the way we see the world. As mentioned above the campaign was founded by three young students.
Budget and due dates
Our campaign has already started, but for this to progress it was necessary to launch our tshirts. We have funding problems and we need to pay the t-shirts as well as some money to continue the campaign. As soon as we recover all the money we invest in making the tshirts, all remaining money raised will be donated!
Until February 16th we hope to be able to raise all the necessary money.
