Hello, my name is Maria Cláudia and I'm asking for your help to make a simple but essential dream come true: to undergo a private screening for autism diagnosis.

I'm an adult, and like many people in my situation, I'm having difficulty obtaining this type of assessment through the public health system. In Portugal, unfortunately, there's no formal diagnosis for adults with autism in the NHS, so the only option is to turn to the private sector—something that, at the moment, is beyond my financial means.

Having a diagnosis isn't just a piece of paper. It's the key to better understanding my needs, accessing appropriate support, and improving my quality of life. Without it, I still lack the formal recognition that would allow me to seek specialized support.
