I arrived here in Portugal in February 2020, looking for a better life, I left behind in Brazil, wife, 2 small children, parents and siblings, so when I arrived I started looking for work I spent 2 weeks looking for a job and started quarantining due to covid 19.
I spent my savings to pay the rent and check in with the immigration company to resolve all my documents.
But I couldn't find a job, so I had to borrow a thousand euros with a friend to survive here in Portugal.
Today I can't take the distance from my family anymore, my wife is separating from me and I want to go back to Brazil to see and take care of my children, but I have to pay my debts and buy the return ticket, which is why that I'm trying to make this appeal here.
About the author
I am an honest Brazilian worked as a teacher and uber in Brazil. I decided to come to Europe in order to escape the violence and in search of a better life for my children and wife, however with everything that happened, covid 19, quarantine did not allow me to get a job, my wife is separating from me and I do not want to stay away from my children, because for me it has no meaning to stay here surviving, knowing that my children are away from me, because my wife will not come here anymore.
I have always been hardworking, honest, and loving to my parents and children.
And the distance became really painful, talking to my kids on the phone, and not being able to touch them is hurting a lot and I know that I will only see them if I go back to Brazil.
I would like family parents, people of all kinds and also that they already have children and hj are far from them who know the pain of being so far away from their children even more because they are so young, one is 7 years old and the other is 4 years old . People who understand the pain I go through is not being able to overcome this situation of abandonment and sadness.
Budget and due dates
Airline ticket to Brazil only one way costs 400 euros, on April 12th to be able to spend my mother's birthday on the 20th with her and my children.
Examination of covid must be done up to 3 days before departure, 200 euros at the beginning of April to avoid problems due to the test requirement at the time of departure.
