Hello! We are CRIA - Mação users and this summer we want to have an unforgettable experience: a summer camp. For many of us, this will be THE opportunity to create unique memories! Join us! ☀️

Let's start by asking you a few questions.

Do you remember the last time you went for a walk, went to a restaurant or went to the beach? For you, these are activities that you decide in two minutes and do in your own way: alone, with someone else, on the street, at home, it doesn't matter. You decide. For us, it's not quite like that...

We face many challenges when it comes to carrying out simple activities like these. We ask ourselves: Can I go alone? Do I need help? Is the place accessible? Although our family and the people we work with help us, we know that breaking out of our routine involves a lot of logistics. And in many cases, vacations seem like a distant, almost impossible reality.

That's why we decided to launch a crowdfunding campaign to finance our summer camp for everyone in Armação de Pêra! We're talking about food, transport, accommodation and activities for around 30 people. The goal is unlimited fun, with adapted activities such as water sports, seaside walks, restaurant visits and much more! After all, summer is made up of unforgettable moments, and everyone deserves to experience them!

But for this to happen, we need you. We need your help to make this dream a reality.

Every contribution, no matter how small, will make all the difference.

How can you help?

  • Contribute whatever amount you can.
  • Share the campaign with friends and family.

🌞 We're counting on you! 🌞

Mergulhar na diversão 🌊

About the author

Who We Are: CRIA - Abrantes Recovery and Integration Center - Mação Unit

For over 45 years, CRIA – Abrantes Recovery and Integration Center has worked tirelessly to improve the lives of people with disabilities, creating an environment where everyone is welcomed, respected and supported in their development. Since 1977, we have been a reference in social intervention and human development, with the goal of building a more inclusive society for everyone.

We know that true inclusion goes far beyond physical accessibility. Our mission is to ensure that people with disabilities can actively participate in society, have access to opportunities for learning, development and, of course, moments of fun and coexistence. Therefore, over the years, we have worked not only to improve the living conditions of our users, but also to create spaces for socialization and inclusion that promote their autonomy and happiness.

Our experience over the years – the experience of working side by side with individuals, families and communities – gives us the confidence that we can make big dreams come true. Like this one: providing an inclusive summer camp that will allow our guests to experience moments of freedom, joy and belonging, just like anyone else.

Sombra, brisa e boa companhia 🌼
