We're going to build a new house in Inharrime. It starts here a new path full of opportunities for the kids and grandmother Zaida.
Anolêncio, Biolávio and Zenaldo are three brothers. They live with grandmother Zaida "in the bush" and far from the nearest community. Because of this distance, these boys do not go to school and grandmother Zaida has to travel long distances to fetch water and food. As she gets older, this distance becomes heavy and there are many miles that she has to travel under heat. The "chapas" (the name of the local buses) do not reach their house, the path is very hard to reach and of dificult access, leaving this family completely isolated. One of the problems of this distance was already felt; grandmother Zaida was not able to be in the Laura Vicuña Center for the distribution of food that happens 4 times a year. And believe me, this family needs it. As you can see in the video this family lives with very little and without resources, they all sleep together on the floor inside a very small "hut" and with only a mosquito net for the 4 of them.
We want to give them better living conditions, to make their lives bearable and more important, that these boys can have the opportunity to study. Our main purpose is to bring them into the community to go to school, to play with other children and have more accessibility to everything they need.
Every help is welcome!
We hope that with the help of everyone we can make this dream come true!
We promise to send the before and after photos to ALL participants who give us their email (write it down when funding).
On behalf of all of us (Gomes family and Santos family),
Thank you!
