We thus launched a fundraising campaign “ONE GESTURE FOR A LIFE - HELP US TO HELP” to be able to gather the necessary funds to purchase a vehicle.

A GESTURE FOR A LIFE - HELP US TO HELP

Only with the help of everyone will we be able to buy a new vehicle for our Fire Department, to fight fires. Voluntary Firefighters Humanitarian Associations are, by definition, organizations that emerge from the communities in which they operate and, not being professional entities, manage their resources in a rigorous manner, considering that they have no sources of income other than those that provide normal services and ordinary. We thus launched a fundraising campaign “ONE GESTURE FOR A LIFE - HELP US TO HELP” to be able to gather the necessary funds to purchase a vehicle. Our fundraising campaign is underway to acquire a new vehicle whose entry into operation will be an enormous asset for our Firefighters.

We are the Humanitarian Associations of Voluntary Firefighters of Moscavide and Portela - the Humanitarian Associations of Voluntary Firefighters are, by definition, organizations that emerge from the communities in which they are inserted and, not being professional entities, manage their resources in a rigorous way, considering that they do not they have sources of income in addition to those that provide normal and ordinary services. It is only possible to ensure the necessary means of assistance, with the solidarity of people and companies.

Budget and due dates

We thus launched a fundraising campaign “A GESTURE FOR A LIFE - HELP US TO HELP” to be able to gather the necessary funds to purchase a fire fighting vehicle for our fire department. We would like to be able to raise the necessary funds in 60 days.
