Campaign to raise donations to purchase toys for the IPO Pediatrics Department to be distributed to children hospitalized by athletes from the Juvenis B team of Futebol Clube Barreirense.

On November 14th, we lost little Madalena, a girl of just 8 years old who, for three long years, faced a tough battle against a brain tumor at the IPO in Lisbon.
Their struggle, as well as that of thousands of other children who go through IPO’s pediatric services, inspired us to take action.
In memory of Madalena and all the children who face similar challenges every day, the Futebol Clube Barreirense Juvenile B team decided to join hearts and efforts to make a difference this Christmas season.
Our goal is simple, but powerful: to bring smiles, comfort and hope to children admitted to the IPO pediatric ward.
In this initiative, our young athletes will visit children, offering small souvenirs and moments of joy. In addition to warming the hearts of these children, this action aims to raise awareness among our athletes about the importance of solidarity and also show them other realities that they are unaware of.
We want them to understand from an early age the value of helping those who need it most.
How Can You Help? We are organizing an unconditional fundraising campaign to make this initiative possible. The amount raised will be used in full to purchase toys previously selected by IPO and which will be distributed to our athletes in the IPO Pediatrics department.
