The wall surrounding the Botafogo de Cabanas field was severely damaged, and the ground was severely affected. More than 60 children are now without the place where they take their first football shots.

Leveling and preparing the terrain, ensuring that the field is safe, playable and suitable for playing football.

My name is Rui Edgar Cabral and I am the father of Vicente Cabral, a young boy who began his football journey at the age of 4 with Botafogo de Cabanas. For us, Botafogo is much more than a football club. It is the place where Vicente has learned not only to play football, but also to grow as a person.
Since joining Botafogo, Vicente lives, breathes, and dreams about training and matches. Every day, he can hardly wait to get on the field, and at home, the conversations are always about training, matches, and what he has learned each day. This enthusiasm, this energy, and this love for the game are contagious, and it's a pleasure to see him grow every day, not only as a player but also as a human being. For him, football is more than just a game. It's a space where he learns essential values such as teamwork, perseverance, discipline, and friendship.
This year, the Botafogo de Cabanas youth team made its debut in official competitions organized by the Setúbal Football Association, which was a great achievement for everyone involved. For Vicente, as for all the other boys in the club, this participation in competitions is an important milestone. They are taking their first steps in the competitive aspect of football, and each training session and each game is experienced with a unique intensity, typical of their age.
As a father, I feel immense gratitude for what Botafogo de Cabanas has offered my son and so many other young people in our community. The club is not just a place to play football; it's a space where children can grow, learn, and develop while having fun and making friends. Botafogo de Cabanas has been, for Vicente and so many other children, a true support system and a place where dreams begin to take shape.
That is why, as a father and a member of the community, I am fully committed to supporting the reconstruction of the Botafogo de Cabanas field. The field was severely damaged by Storm Claudia, and the club needs help to once again offer a safe and suitable space for our children to train and practice sports.
