Firefighters provide around 90% of all pre-hospital emergency services in Portugal under the coordination of INEM.

In 2024, the Avintes Fire Department was called out to an average of 12 pre-hospital emergency incidents per day.

Through the Coração JAP solidarity program, we received a donation to purchase an ambulance. Despite the donation, given the large investment that the Humanitarian Association made in remodeling the barracks facilities, it is unable to purchase an emergency ambulance with its own funds to renew the fleet.

We would like to appeal to your generosity to help us with the remaining amount as much as possible.

We named this campaign Ambulancia Solidária in honor of everyone, whether anonymously or not, who contributed to the purchase of the emergency ambulance.

I am very close to the firefighters, I have family members who are firefighters and my goal at the moment is to help the fire station get an emergency ambulance.

Because today they are the ones who need our help, but every day we are the ones who need their help.

My dream has always been to be a firefighter, but due to health problems I never managed to do so. It is a risky profession, but you feel good about doing good for others.

Therefore, I ask everyone to read the publication and to help from the bottom of their hearts, cooperation will be eternally grateful.
