Boa Aldeia, a small and welcoming village in the municipality of Viseu, is dreaming big: organizing an epic party on April 25th , with lots of music, dancing and joy! And the cherry on top of the cake will be the presence of the incredible band Funciona Publika , who promise to liven up the night like never before!
But to make this dream a reality, we need your help . Organizing an event of this size in a small venue is a huge challenge. The costs of the band, sound, lighting and all the logistics can only be covered with the support of people like you, who believe in the power of community and the magic of local traditions.

The organization of this event is in charge of the Sr. Pedrão de Boa Aldeia Festival Committee , a dedicated group made up of more than 20 people, united by the passion for keeping traditions alive and celebrating local culture.
With a history of more than 20 years of experience , this committee has become an essential pillar in promoting the community, organizing memorable events.
The Committee is driven by a spirit of unity and collaboration, with the support of local people and volunteers who work tirelessly to create unforgettable moments for Boa Aldeia and its visitors. The group’s mission is simple but powerful: to value the village, promote conviviality and ensure that traditions are celebrated with enthusiasm and authenticity .
Thanks to the commitment and experience accumulated over the decades, the Sr. Pedrão de Boa Aldeia Festival Committee has become recognized for organizing successful events, always marked by attention to detail, respect for local culture and the ability to bring joy to all who participate.
With this new initiative – the 25th of April celebration with Public Function – the Commission reinforces its commitment to making history, showing that Boa Aldeia is capable of hosting major events and uniting people around a unique and special celebration.

- Publika Function Band : €10,000
- Includes band fee and possible travel costs.
- Licenses and Security : €1,000
- Licenses from the City Council, GNR, civil liability insurance and private security.
- Decoration and Logistics : €1,000
- Village decoration (flags, lighting, flowers) and transportation of materials.
- Advertising and Publicity : €500
- Posters, flyers, sponsored posts on social media and possible communication costs.
Variable (Additional) Costs
- Bar and Catering : €4,000
- Purchases of beverages and food (with potential for revenue return).
- Other (unforeseen events) : €500
- Reserved for any additional or unforeseen costs.

2. Event Timing
January – Launch and Planning
- 01-15 January:
- Define the organization team and the responsibilities of each person.
- Hire the band Funciona Publika and secure the date.
- Confirm necessary licenses with the City Council and GNR.
- Launch the crowdfunding campaign with compelling text, videos and images.
- Contact potential local sponsors for financial or material support.
February – Disclosure and Preparation
- 01-15 February:
- Create graphic materials for posters and social media posts.
- Plan stage, sound, lighting and security logistics.
- 15-28 February:
- Start distributing posters/flyers in Boa Aldeia and surrounding areas.
- Reinforce dissemination on social media (stories, live broadcasts, countdown).
- Confirm suppliers.
March – Fundraising and Organizing
- 01-15 March:
- Step up the crowdfunding campaign (show progress and encourage).
- Negotiate with suppliers (bar, catering and staff).
- 15-31 March:
- Confirm local sponsorships and partnerships.
- Start assembling decorations (flags, lighting).
- Post previews with the band to attract an audience.
April – Finalization and Event
- 01-15 April:
- Validate everything: band, sound, stage, security and logistics.
- Ensure delivery of materials (drinks, food, decorations).
- 15-24 April:
- Latest announcement on social media and local media.
- April 25th – The Big Day!
- The organization team arrives early to put together the final details.
- Open to the public with a warm welcome.
