We are an Association located in the north of Portugal linked to animal rescue with a pedagogical aspect. Ransom demands continue to come in every day and we just don't have the capacity for more.
IN A NUTSHELL: We need more space to rescue and house animals.
We are unable to respond to the requests that come to us as we will be overbooked. Continuing to manage all this in the place where we are has become impossible, we need more shelters, more manpower to take care of them and consequently welcome more volunteers and visitors.
These shelters, and the move to a larger land in the future, are what we really need! The animals we have and the ones we will have in the future need to have their "room", as well as more land to live, run and play!
We have some shelters and land in sight... But, at the moment, and the reason why we created this campaign, is because we need to guarantee the shelters for the animals. We need to act as quickly as possible.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT: While this fundraiser for the shelters is active, we are also continuing our search for land to move into. We have a few in sight and a lot of people helping us look for them, but if you too know of something close to our location (Matosinhos), don't hesitate to contact us.
With these new shelters, A.Q.U.I.N.T.A. will be able to rescue and house a total of around 60 to 100 animals.
