APA ON WHEELS

APA ON WHEELS is a campaign by the Associação Protectora dos Animais de Torres Novas that aims to raise funds that will allow the purchase of a vehicle to transport animals in complete safety. Help us make this dream come true!

You know when you call us to go rescue an abandoned animal?
When is that big dog injured on the street that only we go there?
Those happy days when we give an animal up for adoption?
Or when we have to take them to the vet?

For all these moments we need a car that allows us to travel safely with the animals!

Until today, all these trips have been carried out in the volunteers' private cars, but sometimes we are unable to guarantee the safety of the animals and volunteers during transport, even if there is a vehicle available!

Therefore, we intend to acquire a van that will allow us to transport the animals in suitable conditions. It is an old dream that we intend to realize soon. For this we need the help of all of you!

About the author

APA, Associação Protetora dos Animais de Torres Novas is a non-profit association for the protection of abandoned animals that aims to:

• Sensitize the population for a change in behavior and mentality towards all living beings.

What we do?

• We take in stray animals, provide them with health care and then try to find a foster family that will take care of them. All our animals are sterilized data.
• We collaborate with educational establishments, in order to raise awareness and educate children with regard to the animal cause.
• We intervene in cases of negligence and mistreatment.
• We collaborate with associations and municipal entities in the promotion of animals that are in their custody for future adoptions.7

We intend to collect this amount by June 30, 2023.
