Duarte is a 5-year-old hero who has been diagnosed with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, but who can have a happier life with your help. Duarte belongs to a numerous family and his days are made of physiotherapy and hydrotherapy sessions.
Three times a year, a more intensive therapy breaks with his routine, but promises to help him getting more smiles to the little one’s face. This therapy costs 3 000€, for 20 days, so adding to the costs of other treatments (physical therapy: 35€/hour, hydrotherapy: 60€/month), it put Duarte’s family in serious financial difficulties and it’s even impossible for Duarte to enjoy some of them. Therefore, AEGIA Social appeals to the creation of a “solidarity wave”, which aims to collect funds (minimum goal: 500€) to be spent in Duarte’s therapeutic treatments.
