In the impossibility of a physical gym, the initiative A Academia Une Todos à Distancia appears. If we, students, show solidarity, join forces and keep hope alive, we make UTAD a true community at a distance.
In the face of this unprecedented struggle to combat the Covid-19 pandemic, the UTAD Academic Association and the Student Centers and Associations decided to join forces in a solidarity initiative that aims, above all, to help students with difficulties and who cannot afford expenses allied to the university or in the acquisition of computer material. The donation campaign is part of the new movement “The Academy unites everyone at a Distance” that presents itself with a solidary purpose and proximity to students. In a time of isolation and social isolation, it must be the moment when these structures are closer to the students. Thus, throughout the period of social isolation, several educational activities, cultural, sports and social development will be promoted with the aim of raising funds to provide technological means to students who are proven to be experiencing economic difficulties, ensuring that no students see themselves forced to drop out of higher education.
