We ask for your help in the creation of the Angolan Association of Health, Safety at Work and Environment Professionals. We want to strengthen the well-being of working conditions in Angola

Angola is currently experiencing a change in working conditions and currently, it is not known, for sure, how many TST and TSST there are in the country, with the Professional Certificate. There will be a few thousand, many of them active, but many who took the courses and no longer used their knowledge in their work practice.
It is a two-pronged profession, completely left to the wind, as the entity that supposedly regulates the profession (Angola General Labor Inspectorate) does not have the means to do so.

This has led to the profession being despised by a large number of employers and the technical autonomy of the TST and TSST being difficult to implement, as TST and TSST are easily found in the labor market, trained in completely "online" actions, without any practical experience, but which, for the purposes of legal compliance, will serve less scrupulous employers to guarantee IGT inspectors out of their doors...
In the end, those who end up harmed are:
- The employers themselves, who are underserved, with the work badly done or even undone...
- The good TST and TSST professionals, who see their wages successively lower because someone always appears in the market, with less ethics and professional deontology, doing badly or not doing what they have to do professionally...

Encontro dos Profissionais de Segurança, Saude no Trabalho

It is therefore necessary to effectively regulate the profession of TST and TSST, by an entity that assumes it in full and has the means to do so. The solution is, therefore, the creation of an Association.

For this, among the legal requirements, a study carried out by a credible entity (Research Center, preferably), is necessary, as well as some other actions, namely the documents to be presented along with the study (Statutes and proposal of legal diploma) at the meetings with the parliamentary groups of the parties, among others, expenses that amount to a total of around 8,000 euros.

The group of volunteers, which I have honorably and proudly been coordinating, has carried out some actions in order to bring together the contributions of existing associations in Angola, as well as all the other contributions that each of the TST or TSST, individually, has understood as well provide.
However, this group that created the Angolan Association of Health Professionals, Safety at Work (AAPSSTA) does not have the financial means to pay for the study and other expenses, a necessary step to be followed in order to continue working towards the creation of the AAPSSTA .

Therefore, the individual contribution of each and every one of the TST and TSST is requested to see their profession regulated, with all the professional and personal benefits that come with it!
On behalf of the AAPSSTA creation working group, I thank you in advance for all your contributions!

Angolan Association of Health, Safety and Environment Professionals, I hereby request your help to make this project a reality.
