Hello, my name is António, I am the father of three children, Rúben, Rafael and Melany, unfortunately life has stolen our dreams, yes life because for our children we do everything, Rafael and Melany were born with a rare disease, Myopathy Central Core, do not walk and have a disability of 90% each, which means that we have to dedicate our time to them.
We had a small cafe that had to close when Melany was born because she was hospitalized for 3 months, and since Rafael is older and also needs us, it was impossible to reconcile everything.
The problem is that I want to work and I can't find a job because I usually go with my children to consultations and therapies, which means that I have to miss work a lot during the year, even if the absences are justified, the bosses don't understand and don't give me work , I even understand their side as well as they should understand mine.
Now the project I have in mind would not interfere with the care of my children, which was to open a Pizzeria with home deliveries and take away after 6 pm, which is my business that I love and it is what I know how to do best since I was 17 years old, I am 42 years old.
The problem now to move forward with my project is the monetary part, we have no possibilities to invest this amount, the value is for used equipment I am not looking for luxuries, only equipment that works and I can work but even used they are quite expensive, and we like As the Portuguese know, social security does not help at all with therapies or travel for consultations or treatments, and these are fixed monthly expenses that in the end little or nothing is left to carry out my project and my job, the idea is to open at night so I'm available for my children during the day, it's the only way I can work and support our family, all help is welcome, and I thank everyone who helps monetarily or by sharing this PPL .
The problem is that I'm still judged by people, which leaves me very low, I try not to listen but it's impossible to hear almost every day people commenting that António doesn't want to work, that he's a rascal, among other comments to bring down , I'm tired of this, it costs a lot to hear these comments for this reason I thought about asking for help and if I achieve this goal I know it's a godsend because it's not easy, but it's also very difficult and hard to have two children with 90% disability and we managed to take care of them.
We parents want the best for our children like all parents in this world.
It is not a formal text but it is the best I know how to do, I just need and want to have a job and thus provide better conditions for my family.
