We hereby appeal for your support and solidarity with this particular case of a young blind woman experiencing socio-economic difficulties.

Paula is a 33-year-old young woman who was institutionalized at a young age and never received any emotional, financial or educational support from her parents or other institutions. She has suffered from type 1 diabetes since she was young and the disease has left her completely blind, which currently prevents her from carrying out any type of professional activity. Paula also suffers from neuropathy and is treated at the Beatriz Angelo hospital in Loures for diabetes and psychological problems associated with blindness.

He lives off a very small disability pension of around €110.61 and a PSI of €550. (Proof sent attached).

He takes several medications that cost around €100 per month (see expenses detailed below)

Paulinha's current rent is €365 (proof attached) and despite the efforts of the Red Cross and other entities and people to bring her food, medication and money and other forms of help with what is essential, we have not been able to provide everything.
