Take Damaia gymnastics to Amsterdam

We want to give our gymnasts the experience of participating in the biggest gymnastics event in the world! We count on your help to make it possible.

The Acrobatic Gymnastics class of Damaia Ginásio Clube will participate in Gimnaestrada 2023 which will take place in Amsterdam from the 30th of July to the 5th of August.

This will be a unique experience for our athletes, which has, however, a great financial burden associated with it. The aim is to help our 13 gymnasts and 3 coaches to participate in what is the biggest gymnastics event in the world, thus creating memories and providing experiences that will last a lifetime.

About the author

Damaia Ginásio Clube, a sports, cultural and recreational community, was founded on September 2, 1970, originating from a group of young people called “Magriços”, who participated in a 5-a-side football tournament, in the year 1970, in Damaia.

Gymnastics modality at the club started 2 years ago. The number of children and young people practicing has been increasing, valuing the sport within the local community.202

Budget and due dates

The aim would be to get €100 in aid for each athlete and their 3 coaches.

The costs associated with the event are:

- Participant letter: 320€

- Accommodation: 260€

- Meals: 310€

- National kit: 85€

- Flight: 340€ approximately
