Help Desconcertuna to participate in X OCEANUS

Desconcertuna was invited to participate in the 10th edition of the festival organized by NEPTUNA - Nobre Enfermagem Poderosa Tuna Universitária dos Açores - on Terceira Island, where it will be competiting on the 20th and 21st of May. As this is a cultural dissemination activity that involves great costs, namely associated with the air transport of all essential active members (30 adult students), and their musical instruments, any monetary support is welcome.

About the author

Desconcertuna, the Tuna Mista of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra, is a non-profit cultural association, which has fourteen years of history, twelve editions of its mixed tunas festival, the "(Re) Cordas" and a CD, released in 2018, entitled "Farra, Memórias e Outros Histórias". Desconcertuna is currently made up of more than fifty active members and nearly a hundred old/inactive members.

Budget and due dates

For the activity to be carried out, Desconcertuna will have to spend around €4000 on air tickets, round trip, including additional costs for transporting musical instruments. Additionally, for the members to travel from Coimbra to Lisbon (Aeroporto Humberto Delgado), Tuna will have to spend approximately €400.

For the purchase of each ticket, the treasury calculated the minimum possible values taking into account the most economical airlines and transport companies.

Fundraising for the trip and project will be implemented on May 8, 2022.
