We are the Almada Atlético Clube Handball Training athletes and we will participate and represent our club and the city of Almada in the Paredes Handball Cup'23 .

The Paredes Handball Cup'23 is one of the biggest and most prestigious Handball Training tournaments at national level.

We are about 80 athletes spread over 6 teams aged from 11 years old.

Funding for amateur sport is limited and we don't have enough resources to cover the expenses involved in this competition. It is the athletes' families who bear the costs and therefore, not everyone is able to participate.

All donations will be directly used in our participation in the competition, namely for transport and food, during the period between 12 and 16 July 2023 .

Supporting local sport is an opportunity to be involved in the community.

About the author

Almada Atlético Clube is a club with a long tradition in the city of Almada, whose mission is to promote sport. Its Handball teams are regularly present in the national stages of the respective levels. We work daily to ensure the club's sustainability and growth, creating value for the Almada municipality community.

Public utility, non-profit institution, whose resources are invested in training young athletes and citizens for a more solidary and equitable community.

In this sense, the handball department of Almada Atlético Clube is promoting this campaign.

Budget and due dates

3000€ for transport of athletes to be booked 30 days before the tournament.
2000€ for food during the tournament.
