You Will Help The AAA Youth (Juvenis) to become Regional Champions 22/23

Internship Participation in the Final Phase of the 2022/2023 Regional Championship, which takes place in Ponta Delgada, São Miguel, Azores. Provide the Athletes with activities together, in addition to the 2 final games. It aims to strengthen team ties.

In our Region, athletes dream of the trips that are normally associated with participation in regional competitions.

The male youth team of the Associação dos Antigos Alunos, in this 2022/2023 season, will not live this reality, as the 1st phase was held on their island and the final phase will also be held in São Miguel.

But this is not a reason to don't give them possibility of minimizing the sadness that they feel and providing them with an approximate experience.

Thus, we intend to organize a Competitive Internship for Participation in the Final Phase of the 2022/2023 Regional Championship, which will take place from the 6th to the 7th of May in Ponta Delgada, São Miguel, Azores, that is, "at home".

Although we play on our Island, we want to provide the Athletes with the same spirit of "Traveling to a Regional", not only by sleeping and eating together, but also by carrying out various activities together, in addition to the 2 final games.

Our program includes:

• Training;
• Group socialization activities;
• Team work dynamics;
• 2 final games;
• cultural visit,

consubstantiating everything in a set of experiences, learning and enrichment of technical and personal skills consistent with the construction of the Athlete profile that is intended in the Associação dos Antigos Alunos.

Goals:

This activity aims to strengthen the team's ties, grow as a group, also preparing it for the remaining competitions it will still have to face, and aims to:

1st - concentrate the athletes in the 2 games;

2nd - to develop group and team spirit;

3rd - relax by participating in a social programme;

but also to provide moments and experiences to each athlete, providing them with a special activity with different moments and from various areas of activity, thus contributing to their personal development.

Above all, by contributing you will be helping to train more qualified and prepared Men who intend to help develop Sport in the Region, making a difference and marking a new era.

About the author

The Youth team of the Associação dos Antigos Alunos has an enormous history in national volleyball, having once again been crowned Champion of São Miguel this season.

This team belongs to the Associação dos Antigos Alunos, founded in 1959, with long history in volleyball, but above all in the Integral Development of People, thus fulfilling the Mission that was in its genesis.

The club's philosophy, over the years, has been to provide the maximum of experiences that allow the development of each athlete, both in sports and in personal terms.

In 2021/2022 this team participated in the biggest international training volleyball tournament that takes place in the world, having won the same:

In 2022/2023, in addition to the above, this team participated in the 27th edition of the Centenary Tournament, having only lost to the Minho Regional Team, thus becoming Vice-Champion.

The Associação dos Antigos Alunos has men's teams at all levels, from mini-volleyball to seniors, having even developed a project called Pipoc'AAAs with children from 3/4 years old.

Budget and due dates

Start: May 6, 2023 End: May 7, 2023

This project is financed in part by the Club, sponsors and by a registration by the athletes themselves.

The budgeted total is around 2,500 euros, of which we have already raised or financed around 33%.

The amount that we are projecting in this crowdfunding, 1,700 euros, will be used to cover the expenses related to the stay (600€), food (700€), transport for the activities to be carried out (100€), entrance to the place of the visit (18€ ) and miscellaneous material (82€).
