I found the house I always imagined. And I would like to make this space a meeting place. Not being a commercial project, it is a private house that will be very shared. And to make all of this possible, I count on your help.

I found the house I always imagined. And I would like to make this space a meeting place. It is in a village in Arruda dos Vinhos, half an hour from Lisbon. In order to carry out the project for the rehabilitation of the house, a dovecote and an oven, which are in ruins, I joined an atelier of architects dedicated to bio-construction, CRU architecture and research.
This campaign intends to gather the necessary funds for the reconstruction of the loft and the wood oven, which are in ruins.
Not being a commercial project - like hotels and rural tourism projects - it is a private house that will be very shared. And to make all of this possible, I count on your help.

What I imagine for this Country House:

::: a meeting place :::

brunches, lunches, dinners, suppers, picnics, parties, birthdays, New Year's Eve, cooking workshops with lunch and / or dinner included, open air dancing with live music ...

::: a place to get closer to the rural world :::

making bread in a wood oven, planting fruit trees, taking care of the vegetable garden, harvesting fruit and vegetables, socializing with animals, camping, walking in the Enchanted Valley ...

::: a place to provoke curiosity :::

open-air cinema sessions, space for classes and workshops (creative writing, dance, illustration, rare words, weaving, singing ...)

About the author

Ana Pereira was born in Lisbon in 1978.

During her degree in Social and Cultural Communication Course at Universidade Católica Portuguesa, she confirmed her interest in communication and the creation of new projects. From here, and after countless experiences shared in the scouts of Linda-a-Velha and in the summer camps, she attended the Management and Production of Performing Arts course promoted by Fórum Dança. She was dedicated to production and helped to make possible the Festival Percursos at the Pedagogy and Animation Center of CCB, Serralves em Festa and other specific projects.

As a press officer she was at the Centro Cultural de Belém, Faro, National Capital of Culture 2005, Porto International Puppet Festival, Bio Week and Spring Meeting.

The experience in both areas led to the co-direction of an artistic creation project with Pedro Gil from 2004 to 2013; to the communication director of the alkantara Festival in 2012 and to the Communication Director of Teatro São Luiz, from 2012 to 2017.

Currently she is dedicated to the communication and production of various cultural projects. She founded and coordinates the “Primeira Vez” public mediation project since 2018.

She is also the author of this “Casa de Campo” project, which truly brings together the previous challenges and recalls the first paths in Rio de Moinhos, the father's small village. From there forward, she keeps the well-being that she has always felt amoungst trees and natural paths that she discovers in each oportinity.

In addition to the many hikes she takes, she wanted to add another passion she has had since she was a child: to share this short biography. And so “Casa” is born from this encounter, from the people and the lightness of the stories of the land.

Budget and due dates

This campaign aims to gather the necessary funds for the reconstruction of the loft [€ 6500] and the wood oven [€ 3500].

Timetable:
January 2021 - start of construction works
January 2021 - start of works on the loft and the wood oven
June 2021 - completion of works on the loft and wood oven
September 2021 - completion of construction work

rewards will be awarded when the house is ready.
