Petsity is a community-based online platform (marketplace) that facilitates the process of finding pet-sitters and booking pet-friendly hotels.
Petsity will allow pet-owners to save money and time when looking for someone/somewhere to take care of their pets, whilst doing it in an easy, safe way. At the same time, it will allow pet-sitters to make some extra money (eg. students) and drive sales to hotels (pet-hotels and regular hotels that offer conditions to receive pets).

Petsity will build a community around three big stakeholders: Pet-owners, Pet-sitters and Pet-friendly hotels. To make it efficient, it will feature:
- Profile screening criteria technology for pet-sitters
- Ratings & Reviews for the three groups
- Payment gateway so that the payment can be done directly in our platform
- GPS based platform - when someone search for pet-sitters or hotels, it will track the most close to your area of preference
- Pet insurance (giving security to pet-owners)
- In-app chat features, so that the pet-owners can talk and meet with the pet-sitters and the responsibles from the hotels before hand, and can check the status of their pets while away.

We are Pedro Marques, Johannes Lüttmer and Frederico Ramos, we are all pet lovers and we all have one dream – creating an amazing platform which connects pet-sitters and pet owners!
We are all Master students studying in Lisbon and love the city for what it is – a hotspot for people who love to connect, that’s why we had the idea to form Petsity. Our ambitious team already has several experiences in marketing, consulting as well as founding businesses in Germany and Portugal.

Budget and due dates
We are ambitious to become the biggest pet community in Portugal which connects pet-lovers, sitters as well as pet hotels. But this is possible only with your help!
To be there as soon as possible we need your help and contribution so we can grow and use all funds for the development of the platform, getting in contact with other petlovers and pet-sitters as well as organizing events like the Petsity Run which will take place this August in Lisbon!
In May, we had the pleasure to take part in the BET24 challenge, the biggest entrepreneurial event in Portugal. Being in the finals now is the start of bringing our platform to the market!
Our ambitious development plan in a short cut:
- May 2017: Finals of BET24.
- June-August: Developing the Platform and building the community.
- August: Petsity Run Lisboa.
- August-December: Building the product and connecting the hotels.
