This project stems from the need for the Alpha Portugal secretariat to have someone with more training to develop Alpha in our country. As this is a growing need, realizing the challenges of our growing context, we decided to accept Alpha International's proposal in London and send Ana as an intern for a period of two months
Alpha is a course with a series of sessions that explore Christian Faith, usually for 11 weeks. Each theme addresses a different issue about Faith and is designed to elicit dialogue. Alpha is made all over the world and everyone is welcome. It is held in cafes, churches, universities, etc ... There are no two Alphas alike, but they all have something in common: food, a theme and a good conversation.
Themes are created to promote and inspire dialogue. Usually the presentation of the themes last about 30 minutes, can be given live or with a video. They explore the great questions about the Faith and show the foundations of Christianity, posing questions such as: Who is Jesus? How can I be sure of my faith? Pray, why and how? or How does God lead us?

CAMPAIGN CONTEXTUALIZATION
This project stems from the need for the Alpha Portugal secretariat to have someone with more training to develop Alpha in our country. As this is a growing need, realizing the challenges of our growing context, we decided to accept Alpha International's proposal in London and send Ana as an intern for a period of two months.
OBJECTIVES
This period of internship will be an asset to our national structure.
We will be closer to the international Alpha contacts and thus we will let you know what we do well, but we will also show our difficulties to help us overcome them, as well as to enable Ana to improve her English.
The internship then has the following objectives:
· Provide training in the area of the dynamics of operation of the international Alpha;
· To know more about Alpha functioning in the area of youth;
· To follow the whole dynamics of the Alpha team in Europe;
· Know and absorb all the dynamics of the operation of international team meetings;
· Allow a better organization of the participation of the Portuguese delegation in the Leadership Conference 19.
THIS CAMPAIGN WHY?
Alpha Portugal is a nonprofit Portuguese association with no regular financial support, which is in communion with the Catholic Church, as well as other Christian Churches. As such, it does not have the capacity to face challenges that involve significant expenses, such as the sending and stay of Ana in London.
Crowdfunding is a fundraising tool that will enable us to develop all the projects we have pending with the help of all those who believe in the transformation of the world through the proclamation of the Gospel and the Person of Jesus Christ.
