Alice is an independent, fiction short film. A project by young people who want to bring a new ideas to the portuguese film scenario. For this, all help is welcome!
This campaign was created with the purpose of financing the production of the short-film "Alice".
With less and less funds available to the independent film prodution, we find ourselfs struggling with a very limited budget. This crowdfunding is born of this issue and, no matter how small, all contributions are crucial to our success.
Abstract
A sweet but fragile girl lives an apathetic life, stuck between an abusive relashionship and the disappearance of her father. When the possibility of hiden money comes up, Alice finds herself confronted with an opportunity do set herself free from that miserable life. However, Alice plans are not the only ones in play, and in this race for money, there is no winner.

About the author
"Alice" is a young independent production created in colaboration with O Bueiro, an art space in the centre of Porto, Portugal. Bringing together people from several areas os expertise, our team is working to creat a fiction short-film that can bring new ideas and possibilities to the portuguese film production and tradition. Even with very scarce resources, we want to prove that young minds are capable of great cinema.
Afterwards, our goal will be to take this short-film to nacional and internacional film festivals.

Budget and due dates
The value set in this crowdfunding is the minimum required to, in addition to what we have already invested, make this film possible. However, to exceed this target would be amazing as it would allow as to improve several aspects of the film's production.
How are we going to use the raised funds?
To achieve our goal we have the following budget:
Equipment Rental - 400 €
Food and Daily Expenses - 150 €
Scenography - 100 €
Festival's Expenses - 350 €
What is our production schedule?
"Alice" will be filmed between 26th of June and 2nd of July of 2023.
Pre-Production - 9th April to 25th June
Shooting - 26th June to 2nd July
Post-Production - 5th July to 5th September
