Act For The Future, is an event that is going to take place on May 2019, and it will contain workshops, speeches and dinamic activities which are based in the four pillars of sustainability (environmental, social, economic and cultural).
How many times have you heard ads from environmentally friendly campaigns? How many times have you been told that recycling can make a difference? This is not going to be one of the times that you listened. This is an opportunity to put everything into practice!
The Act for the Future is an event with the theme of sustainability that aims to spread the knowledge, with fast and fun practices that can be easily applied in our daily basis. This is an event for young people and families, with a strong educational component in the area of sustainability, promoted through activities that seek to raise awareness among the public about the issues addressed in a leisure context.
Through lectures, workshops and activities come learn to contribute to a better world.

About the author
We are a group of students of Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril in Gestão do Lazer e Animação . Within the curricular unit of Planning and Management of Tourism Animation, we were proposed for a final course project to hold an event in order to put into practice the knowledge acquired during the three years of undergraduate degree.
Thus, our group defined as objective to present practical actions that respond to the Overflow problem and promote an increasingly sustainable society in all its spheres (economy, culture, environment and civil society).
Being this an academic event, we will resort to crowdfunding in order to obtain a monetary aid that enables the realization of this project.
Budget and due dates
All the funds raised in this crowdfunding have as sole objective the purchase of materials that allow the course of the lectures, workshops and proposed activities. In this way we can ensure the visibility and success of the Act For The Future project.
The Act For The Future is scheduled for May (date to be announced shortly).
1) 360 € - Acquisition of material for activities in the dynamization of the event.
2) 150 € - Audiovisual rental for lectures.
3) 180 € - Material needed for workshops.
