VICIOSO is an experimental project that addresses sustainability as its main theme.

Through the point of view of a bottle of water, we see the careless way in which people consume this essential good. Water as a resource that is only valued when it becomes scarce. With this project, we intend to expose widespread individualism without losing hope in a more sustainable future through a short film where we are taken on a turbulent journey accompanied "in the eyes" of a bottle of water.

SYNOPSIS

A boy takes a bottle of water from a mini market to a family home on a bumpy journey. Along the way, we come across characters who nervously, under a scorching heat, act erratically. Water is used by these peculiar people who either quench their thirst greedily or use it scornfully. The journey ends at the minimarket, the cycle begins again.

About the author

The VICIOSO team is made up of 3rd year students of the Cinema, Video and Multimedia Communication and Sound Sciences and Technologies degree at Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologia.
We want to create an experimental short film that addresses sustainability as its main theme with a different point of view than what we know.

The film is partially financed by the University, however due to the great complexity of our project we need a little extra help.
