This is a fundraising campaign to support students facing financial difficulties at the Paulo Monteiro Varela School in Picos, São Salvador do Mundo, Cape Verde.
Paulo Monteiro Varela dedicated his life to education: he was a teacher, coordinator, and director of this school, leaving a profound mark on generations of students and the community. In recognition of his legacy, the school's administration decided to honor him by naming the school after him.
We, his nephews and the rest of the family, wanted to go further. We decided to sponsor the school so that Paulo Monteiro Varela's name would not just be a plaque at the entrance, but a living commitment to what he valued most: giving all children, regardless of their financial situation, the opportunity to learn and grow.
