We are Silkadelics/WoodPlan, an events/wedding band from Canas de Senhorim. We need your support to buy our own professional sound system and stop relying on rentals. Every euro counts.
The dream we always wanted to live.
From a young age, we knew that music was more than just a hobby for us. For some of the Silkadelics, the journey began in childhood, sharing chords and rehearsals in garages in our hometown. For others, it was more recent, the result of crossing paths with people who shared the same passion. But when we all came together, we realized one thing: this is it.
This is what we've always wanted to do. To make a living from music.
The Silkadelics were born from this ancient dream .
A premium wedding and event band based in Canas de Senhorim, formed by five musicians and a sound technician. Each one brought their own story, their own influences, their own experiences. But we all arrived at the same place with the same purpose: to create moments that people will remember for the rest of their lives.
What drives us is connection.
When we go on stage, we're not playing for an audience. We're sharing a night with people. We see people smiling, hugging, newlyweds looking into each other's eyes during their first dance, emotional parents, grandparents dancing with their grandchildren. It's that exchange, that moment when the music connects everyone on the same wavelength, that makes us wake up every day wanting to do more and better.
What do we need?
We want to buy an HK Polar 12 MK2 professional sound system, priced at €2,050.
Thanks to the generous support of a local partner, we already have €500 secured. We still need €1,550 to complete this step and finally have the equipment this band deserves.
The goal of this campaign is €750 to start, but every euro exceeding that amount goes directly towards the total of €1,550. The more we raise, the closer we are to reaching our goal.
It may seem like a small thing to an outsider, but it's the difference between relying on constant rentals and having the autonomy to respond to each event as it deserves. It's the leap that allows us to stop improvising and start making a living from this for real.

We could have taken out a loan from the bank. We could have waited another year, saving concert by concert. But we decided to do things differently: we decided to ask the people who watched us grow up.
