Our House needs you.

Help the São Bernardo Parish Center renovate its buildings. Only in this way can we care for families and maintain jobs.

Our buildings, with decades of history , need to be renovated to meet current legal requirements , an essential condition for us to continue providing our services .

These works are mandatory by law and will take place in two phases. The first phase began in November 2025 , in the Elderly Support building . The cost of this phase is budgeted at 1.5 million euros , of which 306,000 euros are already secured .

The Center does not have the financial capacity to carry out the project without compromising its future sustainability and the continuity of the mission it has been developing for over 50 years.

Therefore, the solidarity of civil society is vital. Only with your help can we make it a reality.

This project will enable :

• to guarantee the continuity of services to the community ;
• to maintain jobs ;
• increase the number of vacancies for Families on the waiting list;
• Create new services (e.g., Gym; Physiotherapy);

Without these projects, support for hundreds of families and jobs will be at risk.

After reaching the goal of €10,000, the CPSB will publicly announce the results and launch the next phase of the campaign: “Continue Building the Future”. This campaign is part of a larger effort to raise the total amount needed for the renovation works of the São Bernardo Parish Center.

About the author

For over 50 years, the São Bernardo Parish Center (CPSB) has been the social heart of the São Bernardo Community.

Every day, we welcome and care for children, young people, and the elderly , supporting over 500 families and impacting approximately 2,000 people annually.

Currently, CPSB is the largest employer in São Bernardo and we play an essential role in the social and economic development of the community .

Today, the future of this house – and of those who depend on it – is at risk.

Budget and due dates

The funds raised in the campaign will be applied to the first phase of the renovation works – which focuses on the building supporting the elderly – and which are currently underway in São Bernardo, Aveiro. The completion of the works is scheduled for August 2026.

Transparency is the foundation of the trust that unites CPSB with the community. Therefore, we are committed to providing clear and regular accountability.
