There are paths we choose and others that choose us. From an early age, traditional Portuguese music, light songs, and poetry dictated the rhythm of my journey, closely accompanied by the guitar and piano.

Over the past few years, between stages, rehearsals, and writing original songs, I've been gathering the songs that tell this story. Now, the decisive moment has arrived: to bring my first studio album to life. It's the culmination of much dedication, but a project of this magnitude demands impeccable technical precision—from recording to mixing, mastering, and physical release of the album.

About the author

I am João Ramalheira, a multifaceted singer, songwriter, and musician with a career deeply connected to Portuguese culture and music. I combine my passion for art with a sense of responsibility and closeness to the community, performing live regularly—especially the concerts that fill my schedule, including my solo performance on October 4th. This first album is the culmination of years of dedication to writing, guitar, and piano, and a reflection of an artistic identity that I want to share with the world.

Budget and due dates

Project Scheduling

• September to October 2026: Pre-production, technical alignment, studio sessions and launch concert (October 4th).

• November to December 2026: Recording of vocals and instruments, studio recording.

• January to February 2027: Mixing, mastering, finalizing graphic design and preparing physical media.

• Spring 2027: Official release of the first studio album and start of the promotional tour.

The detailed budget is being finalized with the studio's technical team, with the initial goal adjusted to ensure the viability of the first phase of recording and mastering the album.
